Opening its doors in 2004 The Blessed Table began as the cooperative ministry effort of eight United Methodist Churches in the greater Greensboro area.
Today the cooperative ministry is between just five United Methodist Churches. The Blessed Table Food Pantry is overseen by a 16 member board that works tirelessly alongside participating churches to ensure operations run smoothly and donations reach those most in need within the community. Currently The Blessed Table is working with local donors, establishments, and community members to procure grants that will ensure the continuation of The Blessed Table in hopes that it will remain a sustainable community entity combating food insecurity within our community.
